is this legal? Why should we risk spending $500 or more to win this contest?
Yeah, I’m sure Ebay is into hosting illegal sweepstakes.
Can you explain this.. like I am si please..lol What happens if I win a bid? Do I have to pay for it? I am a bit wary of playing for things I can’t afford to pay for. I’m really not sure exactly how to do this one
try entering via mail instead of bidding
You get a entry when you bid on something you were planning on buying if you won the bid. Basically everyone that’s buying stuff is getting entered whether they know it or not.
You have to opt-in to enter So it limits entries to just those people.
Yeah, the 1/2 a billion people that use Ebay on a daily basis.
Nope. You have to register for the sweepstakes, how many will actually register? Only a fraction will even do, mostly sweepers. So it’s just in the thousands, maybe tens of thousands.
It’s not everyone who’s bidding, just those who actually go to the sweepstakes site and sign up. I agree with Daniel.
If you bid and win you pay–
The big prizes are gone. There was a early bird sweepstakes. 3 grand prizes between $15,000 to $30,000. Ebay will buy the car you lost the bid on. That is if it was available and under 30K. Or you have your choice of a car between $15k to $30k. I was fortunate to find out about this sweep, and entered the early bird drawing. Don’t think there were more than a handful of entries as this sweep was not posted anywhere. Only prizes remaining are the $1,000 prizes.
You’re only fortunate of you won something.
