I’m starting to get the impression that Daniel Terdiman is a big fan of Frank Lloyd Wright’s designs. 🙂

Yep. I just found that one too. It follows his recent story about visiting SC Johnson Wax Headquarters…and, of course, his fondness for Frank Lloyd Wright.
This appears to be today’s answer: http://www.indianapolisexploration.com/wfmMedalOfHonor.aspx

08/01 – Antenna farm?
It’s either in Wisconsin Or Ohio?
I found this location, looks very similar not sure if this is it. Look at the first picture.
http://www.mwpersons.com/Stations/Paul-Bittner/
These in the contest photo appear to not be tall antenna towers, almost like a test range for emergency/first responder communications equipment.
It looks to me like they can be removed- the grass is cut at the bases. Gravesite flagpoles for a Veteran’s cemetery?
Flags of Honor Memorial Field? Willmar, MN or WI? Ohio Tour of Flags of Honor? Antennas or detectors of some sort? Flagpoles with no flags? Weather station? Wind turbines without vanes? Famous sculpture dedicated to mid-western artist? Mid-western antenna designer? Hymn to the fallen?
There is a satellite antenna near the building which would receive a signal to be re-broadcast via the farm of terrestrial vertical antennas?
When zooming in towards the barn, I can see some sort of marker/memorial for something. This is a real hard one today.
The more I look at it the less likely I see antennas. Then, I thought of some poles for flags, but they are not strong enough it seems, plus no ropes.
The field next door looks like some agriculture. Maybe the poles are part of some experiment? Or memorial to some experiment?
A portion of a cemetery with some memorial display?
This picture looks like it could be a close match to the 08/01 image but I’m gonna try and verify it further: http://www.hmdb.org/PhotoFullSize.asp?PhotoID=88454
I’d be surprised if more the 30 people got the 08/01 image right. I posted a good try though, but, alas, Google street view verified that the surroudings don’t match.
Charles T. Nice find…may not be the exact same place….but it looks like you latched on to the concept…some form of flag park memorial…maybe from an event held at one time, maybe not used now. I looked up and found some other Veterans Memorial pics that have a similar layout, including one in Madison WI.
Still looking for the exact pic.
Any luck on finding an exact match for 08/01?
I think it’s a flag memorial :”Flags of Honor” or “Field of Honor” but can’t figure out which one. The flagpoles appear to be permanent, eliminating the Ohio moving exhibit, and they all look to have halyard winches. Now you figure out which it is.
