I have worked with non-profits my whole life so I know that oneof the most iatmrpont thing people can do, besides donating money, is volunteering. We have a local shleter here that is always looking for volunteers and I try to help as much as possible. People dont realize that just by going to volunteer whether to answer phones, clean, sort clothes, wok in the day-care makes a huge difference. Every hour a volunteer helps is a n hour of pay that the organization saves. It is an hour where something will get done that maybe the staff couldn’t do. SO I am always urging people to make a difference and do something for their local organizations especially the smaller one.
