Nominate a Black-owned Restaurant and be entered for a chance to win a trip to a professional football game or a $1,000 gift card for a dining experience at a local Black-Owned Restaurant. Eligibility: Open only to legal U.S. residents who reside in one of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and are eighteen (18) years of age or older (19 or older if a resident of Alabama or Nebraska) at the time of entry
Entry Dates: June 5, 2023 – July 1, 2023 at 11:59 pm ET
Entry Limit: one entry per person per day
The Entrant is providing an entry on behalf of him/herself and the Black-Owned Restaurant they nominate at the time of submitting their entry (see rules for eligibility).
For Entrants: One (1) potential Grand Prize winner, one (1) potential First Prize winner, and ten (10) potential Second Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about July 5, 2023 from among all eligible entries received.
For Black-Owned Restaurants: At the conclusion of the Promotion Period, the Nominees (named in the entries) will be ranked based on the number of entries (i.e. “nominations”) received throughout the Promotion Period. The Nominee who received the most entries (ranked #1) will receive the Black-Owned Restaurant Grand Prize (subject to vetting and verification). The four (4) Nominees who received the next highest number of entries (ranked #2 thought #5) will each receive a Black-Owned Restaurant First Prize (subject to vetting and verification). The five (5) Nominees who received the next highest number of entries (ranked #6 through #10) will each receive a Black-Owned Restaurant Second Prize (subject to vetting and verification). Limit one (1) Black-Owned Restaurant prize per Black-Owned Restaurant. See rules for prize information.
Entrant Grand Prize (1): A trip for winner and winner’s one (1) guest to the professional football game (“Game”) scheduled to take place on February 11, 2024 in Paradise, Nevada. Travel dates: February 8, 2024 – February 12, 2024. The prize includes two (2) Game tickets; round-trip coach air transportation for winner and one (1) guest (from a major airport nearest winner’s home); double-occupancy, standard hotel accommodations (one room) for four (4) nights; Game party (as determined by Sponsor, in Sponsor’s sole discretion); shared-bus transportation from hotel to Game and back to hotel after the Game; two (2) commemorative gift bags; and $750 (awarded in the form of a check, payable to winner). A minor child may accompany winner as a guest only if minor’s parent or legal guardian is the winner. Minor must be accompanied at all times during the Game by minor’s parent or legal guardian. Entrant First Prize (1): A trip for winner and winner’s one (1) guest to a James Beard Foundation Event in New York City, NY (the “Event”). The Event is tentatively scheduled to take place in August, 2023. Exact travel dates to be determined, at a later date, by Sponsor, in Sponsor’s sole discretion and dependent on the Event date. The trip consists of round-trip coach air transportation (from a major airport nearest winner’s home) for winner and winner’s one (1) guest; double-occupancy, standard hotel accommodations (one room) for three (3) nights; two (2) tickets to the Event; and $300 (awarded in the form of a check, payable to winner). Winner’s guest must be 18 years of age or older (19 years of age or older if a resident of Alabama or Nebraska). Additional restrictions/conditions apply. ARV of First Prize is $3,170, depending on winner’s point of departure and destination airport.
Entrant Second Prizes (10): Gift card(s) totaling $1,000 to be used for a dining experience at a local Black-Owned Restaurant
