With a mission to empower the everyday home chef to create delicious, nutritious meals the whole family will love, Knorr launched “Calling All Chefs”, a national contest inviting consumers to create their own signature recipes for under $4 per serving for a chance to win $10,000.
To enter, participants will post an original video on their Instagram feed to introduce their unique recipe created using Knorr, while tagging the brand @Knorr and using #KnorrCallingAllChefs. Recipes must include Knorr product(s), a protein and vegetable.
The Knorr culinary team will judge recipes based on taste, presentation, and creativity, and select four winners to receive a $10,000 cash prize. Four Winners will be selected on December 1, 2022 and announced on Knorr’s social channels.

Entry Limit: one entry per person
How to Enter: post a video (60 seconds or less) to your main Instagram feed of an original recipe featuring a Knorr product (residents of CO, MD, ND, NE, and VT need not include a Knorr product), a protein, and a vegetable for $4 or less per serving (recipe must be at least 4 servings) that can be cooked in 45 minutes or less with 10 ingredients or less, using the hashtags #KnorrCallingAllChefs and #contest and tag @knorr
Entry may include a Knorr Future 50 Ingredient, but it is not required. Examples of Knorr Future 50 Ingredients include spinach, walnuts, lentils, fava beans, soy beans, quinoa, wild rice, kale, red cabbage, flax seeds, sesame seeds, Watercress, orange tomatoes, broccoli rabe (Rapini Greens), bok choy or Pak-choi (Chinese Cabbage). Entry may also include, cost information, and serving size, but it is not required. Video must show recipe preparation AND FINAL DISH and post copy must include written recipe with ingredients and directions.
Submission must be posted to your main Instagram feed and not IGTV, Instagram Stories, or Instagram Reels.
Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder of the Instagram account associated with the Entry.
Finalist Judging: Perceived Taste (30%), Presentation/Photography (30%), Creativity (20%), Food trends/Nutritional Value (20%)
Grand Prize Winner Determination:
Once up to ten (10) Finalists have been verified and confirmed, their Submissions will be sent to the Unilever test kitchen, where the Sponsor and its agents will cook each Finalist recipe based exactly on the guidelines provided in the recipe from the Entrant (“Test Kitchen Creation”)
Finalists’ cooked dishes will then be re-judged based on the following criteria to determine four (4) Grand Prize winners:
- Actual Taste of Test Kitchen Creation (30%)
- Should be perfectly seasoned, but not overly! There should be no need to add additional seasoning after completion of the recipe.
- The flavors should be balanced. Not one specific ingredient should stand out too much (example: too much truffle or sesame will be overpowering and take over the whole dish).
- Presentation (30%)
- Creativity (20%)
- Food Trends/Nutritional Value (20%)
Grand Prizes (4): $10,000, awarded in the form of a check made payable to the Grand Prize winner and the opportunity to have Grand Prize winner’s recipe featured or published by Knorr (in their sole discretion).
