I smile each morning waking to the realization that I can add a new day to my deck. Reflecting on all the possibilities that lay ahead, I get in another smile. When loved ones call me spontaneously ‘just to touch base’ I’m able to sneak in even more smiles. My biggest smiles come intermittently throughout the day reflecting on how I have so many wonderful people in my life. I raised two great twin girls who are happy, flourishing, and fiercely independent. Thinking of all them, I retire each evening with a smile of satisfaction.

What makes me smile is this. When I go to bed I smile. I am greatful for that day. Whether it was good or bad. Same to my beginning of my day. I smile because I’m alive and have loved ones still in my life.

My Son makes me smile! My son has a sensory processing disorder and is not very verbal at the age of 4. He goes to speech therapy and occupational therapy. In the past year my sweet boy has made so much progress! He went from only saying a few words to putting whole sentences together. I am so proud of him and that makes me smile.
