Pizza Hut “Starts A New Chapter” to help all kids succeed through reading. A lack of books in the home is directly linked to an increased likelihood that a child will read below his or her grade level by the fourth grade. In fact, 25 million children in the U.S. cannot read proficiently. And students who can’t read proficiently by third grade are four times more likely to leave school without a diploma than proficient readers, a huge barrier to meeting their full potential as adults.
Through Pizza Hut’s The Literacy Project the program will enable access to books and educational resources, empower teachers and inspire a lifelong love of reading.
As an incentive to share, Pizza Hut is giving away a once-in-a-lifetime travel experience to bring one lucky person’s favorite book to life. To enter for a chance to win, consumers can share the title of their favorite book and why it’s important to them on Instagram or Twitter, tag @PizzaHut and use the hashtags #HelpStartANewChapter #sweepstakes. The winner will be announced by April 30.
Official Rules: open to US, DC, 18/age of majority and older. Begins on February 26 and ends on April 15. One entry per person per social media channel throughout the Sweepstakes Period (for a maximum of two entries per person/email address throughout the Sweepstakes Period).

One (1) Grand Prize: A trip for winner and up to three guests to a location similar to the setting of their favorite book mentioned in their winning entry. Exact travel destination will be determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Trip consists of roundtrip, coach class air transportation from a major U.S. gateway airport near winner’s residence to designated location, four days and three nights standard hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy), and ground transportation to/from airport and hotel, and $500 per diem which can be used towards meals and activities while on trip. If winner resides within a 100-mile radius of destination, ground transportation will be provided in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or substitution will be provided in lieu thereof.
