Entry Limit: one entry per person per day
Three (3) Prizes: a trip for Winner and a guest to attend the 2016 Warsteiner “Perfect Pour” Competition scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 13, 2016. If the Winner’s residence is located 150 miles or more from Las Vegas, Nevada , the Winner will receive round-trip air transportation for two people from the airport in the continental United States nearest to the Winner’s residence to Las Vegas, Nevada plus round-trip transportation to the hotel from the arriving airport in Las Vegas. If the Winner’s residence is located less than 150 miles from Las Vegas, Nevada, the Winner will receive, in lieu of air transportation and ground transportation to and from hotel, one $200.00 gasoline card. Three nights hotel accommodations for two people while in Las Vegas, Nevada (based on one standard room, double occupancy), and one $275 gift card for spending. ARV: $1,650
BARTENDER CONTEST
Entry Date: Begins at 10 AM ET on May 30, 2016 and is comprised of two Rounds. In order to compete to win the Grand Prize, you will need to successively advance to Round 2.
Round 1: Get someone to take a picture of you making the perfect pour (or take one yourself). Upload your picture to perfectpouroff.com and then get your patrons, customers, fans, friends, and family to visit the website and vote for your perfect pour.
Entry Limit: One entry per person
Round 1 Judging Criteria: (1) Number of Votes: Highest number of votes: 30 points awarded, Second highest number of votes: 20 points awarded, Third highest number of votes: 10 points awarded. Weight 49%. (2) Creativity shown and technical result of your perfect pour: Points to be awarded 1-10. Weight 51%.
Entries receiving the highest number of points in Round 1 will be declared a “Finalist” and advance to Round 2 of the Competition to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 13, 2016. Each Finalist will be notified by phone or email on or around July 19, 2016.
At the Round 2 of the Competition, the three Finalists will compete in a live “pour-off” consisting of 3 pours, and will receive points for each pour. Finalist names will be drawn at random to determine the order of the pour. The Finalist receiving the highest number of points at the conclusion of Round 2 will be declared the Grand Prize Winner and will win the Grand Prize. Round 2 Judging Criteria for each pour: (1) Preparation of glassware. Points to be awarded 1-10. Weight: 15%. (2) Creativity shown and technical result of your “live” perfect pour. Points to be awarded 1-10. Weight 85%. All Round 2 judging to be conducted by Warsteiner USA. The Grand Prize Winner will be announced on August 13, 2016, at the conclusion of the 2016 Warsteiner “Perfect Pour” Competition.
Bartender Contest Grand Prize: roundtrip coach airfare for the Grand Prize Winner and one Guest from the international airport in the continental United States closest to the Grand Prize Winner’s residence to Berlin, Germany, hotel accommodations for six days and five nights while in Germany (one standard room with double occupancy) and $1000 spending money. Sponsor to select destination of Grand Prize trip to Germany. ARV: $6,000
