You will need to write an essay of no more than 250 words, in which you explain why you deserve to win a Prom makeover. Points you might explain in your essay include the financial restraints that might keep you from attending Prom, how you maintain a good academic record, how your actions have impacted your school and/or community, and how you keep a positive attitude in difficult times.
Since you must complete the Contest entry form in a single session (note that partially completed Contest entry forms cannot be saved for later completion), it is recommended that you prepare your essay in a word processing program prior to accessing the online Contest entry form. Then you can cut and paste your essay into the Contest entry form at the time you submit your entry. Cut and paste your essay into the entry form and provide all other required entry information.

One (1) Grand Prize: a trip for the winner and one parent/legal guardian to Los Angeles, California, to participate in TLC’s Say Yes to the Prom event on April 13, 2016. The prize also includes round trip coach air travel for two people to Los Angeles, CA, from a major commercial airport near winner’s residence; one double-occupancy hotel room for 3 days/2 nights; ground transportation; and $250 spending money.
