I have banked 240 minutes so far. I was reading all the services and was please to see that we can have someone come weed in our yard for 2 hours and use a 60 minute one for vacuuming and dusting. My wife likes this a lot. I keep getting more minutes each day. Very cool.

I started to schedule time for the “sweeping and mopping” in my home on the July 10th and they still have not been able to schedule it for me. It is an awesome sweep and they are trying so I am certainly not complaining. I am mentioning this for everyone who is holding onto their minutes becasue according to the rules “All Instant Win Prizes must be redeemed by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on September 13, 2014” (last sentence of Section 3). Depending on where you live, it may take time to schedule the task you want.
The people that schedule the tasks are super nice and they keep in constant contact to keep you updated on the status of the task. Best of luck to all!

I have a cleaning service here RIGHT NOW thanks to this contest…they are cleaning all my hardwood, tile and linoleum floors! SWEET!!!! Thank you Lipton Iced Tea for this contest! It took about 4 days for them to find someone to come. I asked the service guy if there was anything I needed to sign and he said that it was all taken care of. They also wanted to use their own supplies and not mine as the rules indicate. I can’t tell you how happy I am to have this done…I HATE cleaning my floors!
They are also delivering 2 – 12 packs of iced tea to my home next week since i had the minutes to have that done. LOVE THIS CONTEST!
ralekato says
HI Kathleen, I have banked over 20 hours on this contest now and I have had 2 requests in with no luck for over a month now. They keep saying every day they are still trying to contact a contractor. One request is for vacuuming a dusting and the other request was for pulling weeds from our front walkway. I called the number on their contest rules and they tell me it may take a while to contact contractors but this is ridiculous. My wife thinks the whole thing is a sham. Can I ask what part of the country you live in? I am outside of Boston, MA. I want to put in more requests but wanted to see if they even came through with one request first. Thanks for letting me vent. #confused
Kathleen says
It might also depend on where you live. We live in the country and I mean in the middle of nowhere. Contractors might not want to drive this far. They did get one of my tasks scheduled for Monday (7-21) to sweep and mop. I am super excited about that! I’m like Tina, I hate cleaning my wood floors! lol. Keep putting in your requests, ralekato. Different people get assigned the tasks. The last task I submitted is the one that is done so far. Don’t give up! It is an awesome contest and I am very grateful to Lipton for having it! Please keep us updated.
Kathleen says
The cleaning service came today and did an amazing job! The ladies were very nice and very thorough in cleaning. Don’t give up on getting your prize!
Kathleen says
Hi Tina! What category/minutes did you use to get the tea delivered to your home? I can’t seem to find it. Thanks!
Tina Ries says
I live in Denver, CO….the cleaning service that came said they were nervous about it because they have been scammed before and so they didn’t initially want to do it…so the contractors out there might be nervous to commit. They should have gotten contractors lined up ahead of time….
Maybe I just lucked out?
Tracie Vandermeulen says
unable to schedule for me 🙁
Tracie Vandermeulen says
@tina how many minutes were the iced teas to be delivered
Sarah Clark says
Been waiting two weeks for a licensed contractor. This is ridiculous.

So I have over 18 hours worth of work that can be done. How can I get a cleaning service to come clean my house? Is this an option?
apryl says
I scheduled a 2 hour cleaning with them and after A MONTH they said they couldn’t do it and refunded the minutes to my account. Then I scheduled a 2 hour weeding and the same thing is happening again. They are responding everyday saying they are ‘working on in’ and it has been 3 weeks. I don’t trust it.
KellyB says
I live in the L.A. area and had about 10 hours saved up. On 8/1, I requested a 2 hour exterior window cleaning and 2 hours for someone to come paint some fencing. Finally got someone to come out and clean the windows. I told her about the painting and she said they probably would not be able to find anyone. Apparently they want the workers they hire to be licensed. I’m not sure many licensed painters want to do such a small job but maybe I will get lucky. I don’t really know what else to request so I think I’m just going to try for the grand prize and not worry about the minutes. Good luck to those of you who are waiting!

Hey everyone, I just found out how you can use your minutes towards Amazon purchases. You first go to the Redeem page and put zip code that is a near a major city. It doesn’t matter as long as it’s a big city. Acually use 02115 (Boston) Then select a 120 minute household chores task. The option for grocery shopping will now be available. Then go to Amazon.com and find items to bring your total to as close as $50.00 before tax and shipping costs. Tell them the following “Please use this 120 minute transaction for the following Amazon Shopping purchases.” Then I copy and paste in the exact title from the Amazon page of what I want.. So far I have gotten confirmation of using $50.00 purchases well usually around 46.95 or 48.99. I just bought brakes for my car and some memory cards. You don’t have to buy food items. I just found out about this the other day and I am scrambling to use up my minutes before the contest ends. I am also still entering everyday until it ends on September 7th. So far I have confirmation of about $450.00 worth of Amazon purchases. You can also combine up to four 120 minute blocks to buy a $200.00 item.
Rhi says
So how do you use more the 120 at a time then?
gkaldrich says
“Then I copy and paste in the exact title from the Amazon page of what I want.” Each item or are you copying and pasting your shopping cart?
58gremlin says
Can you purchase Amazon gift cards and have them send it to your email? And have anyone ACTUALLY received the items they bought using that transaction process??
Tina Aguilar says
Thank you I was able to order a few things today & already got my confirmation number.
