2: 12:00 AM ET on 5/1/14 through 11:59 PM ET on 5/31/14
3: 12:00 AM ET on 8/1/14 through 11:59 PM ET on 8/31/14

To enter write an essay with the name of the person you are nominating for a surprise party, as well as why this person deserves the surprise party. *See rules for essay requirements.

Entry Limit: one entry per person/email address per Nomination Period.

Eleven (11) Grand Prizes [three (3) for Nomination Period 1 and four (4) each for Nomination Period 2 & 3]: A surprise party worth up to $14,000, as outlined in the winning Nominator’s Entry, and a Sponsor-determined amount of money (up to $6,000, depending on the amount of the party), awarded in the form of a check to the winning Nominator only (to defray taxes) shall be awarded. maximum ARV: $20,000

Surprise Party Time Period:

1: 3/1/14 through 5/31/14
2: 6/1/14 through 8/31/14
3: 9/1/14 through 11/30/14

Prize Limit: one prize per person/email address.

Judging Criteria:

40% – Creativity/uniqueness of Entry
40% – Overall appeal of Nomination Essay
20% – Feasibility of surprise party
