How to Play: sign in to the Xbox Live service via an Xbox 360 console, navigate to the USAA landing page on the Xbox Live Dashboard, play and complete the available free “Obstacle Course” game as instructed, and click the designated area during the Sweepstakes Period to reveal if you are an Instant Winner.

Hi All! The way to navigate to the game is to 1st make sure you are signed into your Xbox Live account…Then at the top, choose GAMES…Next, along the left hand side, choose BROWSE GAMES…Next, at the top, choose INDIE. At the bottom you want to select the option that shows SEE WHAT’S NEW ON THE GRID. Inside THE GRID…the 4th option on the top shows USAA FREE DOG TAGS. Pick that. FINALLY..Select any branch, and after you pick it, the 2nd option at the top of the screen is where you play the game..OBSTACLE COURSE. Believe it or not, I stumbled upon it while just trying to get free dog tag downloads! I had given up on trying to find the promotion! Since I found it, I decided to share with you all! Good Luck!! 🙂
Hi again! I haven’t played since the other day. I played today and noticed that the USAA FREE DOG TAGS option is now gone! It now says PLAY THE GAME!!! Good luck to you all!!!
It’s gone from the grid as of today…. Or is it just me? The contest is supposed to be ending as of 1/31/14! They replaced it with a T-mobile Ad….
Can you enter the 2nd chance drawing if you don’t have an Xbox Live membership?
And as a 20+ year USAA member, I have to wonder, what does XBOX and USAA have anything to do with the other? It seems random to me.
I thought it read that any unawarded prizes OVER $25 would be included in the second chance drawing, but I just received an email that I was a second chance winner of entry period #1 for a $5 code. Did I understand the rules incorrectly? Thanks!
I noticed that too. I got a $15 code. And there were so few prizes so apparently not very many people knew they won.
