  1. FYI–“I have read and agree to be bound by the Official Rules and PRIVACY POLICY”>> By checking this box you AGREE that Sponsor may share your personal information, including your MOBILE PHONE NUMBER and EMAIL address, to third parties. The last thing I need is more UNSOLICITED PHONE CALLS and SPAM mail.
    NO THANKS Western Union :(~

  2. JD, do you really believe that your phone number isn’t already floating around out there on hundreds of telemarketing lists? Anyone who enters sweeps regularly and provides a phone number is basically making the info public domain. Even when it asks for mobile phone, I always put my landline; at least I can easily screen those calls, and I don’t think there is any way they can tell what kind of number it is unless they are sending text messages.

  3. Chuck, I am not so naive that I don’t believe my phone number is on a lot of telemarketer lists. I was just giving a heads up to other sweepers that Western Union has no scruples when it comes to giving out their personal information to third parties. A legitimate Sponsor would have no reason to sell or give out such information unless it is given to an Administrator to fufill a prize that has been won.

  4. I won a tablet! Thanks sweetie!

  5. I received an e-mail yesterday that I won a tablet! Thanks!!
