Step2 Big Imaginations are Cooking Contest

If you have children ages 10 or younger, this @theStep2Company contest looks like a lot of fun. You can work together on it and your kids will enjoy being a part of the process.

Sweeps Rating: Okay

Eligibility: US, Void AK, HI, who on the last day of the month prior to the date of entry are 18 or older, except residents of AL & NE who must be 19 or older and residents of MS who must be 21 or older; and who are parents and/or legal guardians of a child 10 years of age or younger.

Entry Dates: begins on October 19, 2011 at 12:01 AM ET. The Essay portion of the Contest ends on November 20, 2011 at 11:59 PM ET and the Grand Prize portion of the Contest ends on January 8, 2012 at 11:59 PM ET

How to Enter: visit www.bigimaginationscontest.com and write an essay of one hundred fifty (150) words or less that explains how your kids play imaginatively.

Entry Limit: one entry per email address.

Winners of the Essay portion of the Contest, will receive a Step2 Play Kitchen, and video camera, and will be eligible for the Grand Prize, once they submit a 90 second video showing their child (children) creatively playing with the Step2® Play Kitchen. The criterion for judging entries is outlined below. Video must be posted on the Step2® Facebook page by 11:59 PM ET on December 8, 2011 to participate in competition for the Grand Prize

Judging Essay Portion: entries will be judged by a panel of qualified judges based on the following criteria:

• Overall Creativity (40%)
• Encouragement of creative play (40%)
• Originality (20%)

Voting Period: The ten (10) Entries with the highest scores will be deemed the finalists and will advance to compete for the Grand Prize. The ten (10) finalists Videos will be posted to the Step2® Facebook page for voting by the general public on December 12, 2011. Votes from the general public will decide the winner. The voting period ends at 11:59 PM ET on January 8, 2012

Essay Contest Prizes (10 each): Ten (10) individuals will receive a Step2 Play Kitchen, and a Video Camera. Winners will be sent the kitchen and video camera by November 28, 2011.

One Grand Prize: $5,000.00 to be awarded to winner via check by February 28, 2012.
