  1. Thanks for the chance!

  2. Ted Strand says:

I truly appreciate the chance… with priorities always having been our family, we have always chosen the vehicle that met the needs rather than fun. Our first car together was a 64 “Beetle”, but when the little thing gave up after pulling all our “stuff” to our college home in 1967, we were choosing between a “64” Buick LaSaber and a decked out “65” Dodge charger fast back. Needless to say the Buick won out. Those were in the days when Route ’66 had two segments along our route whose speed limit signs read “reasonable and proper”. Having our trip from Mt. Prospect to SIU down to just over 4 1/2 hours; well suffice it to say the Blue 4 dr 350 eng won the toss up…. :) So even imagining the possibilities is great fun… :)
