    • Stacey– there is no prize limit.. I’ve won (and received with a little work) the $75 twice and received paperwork today for the $750 I won last week. πŸ™‚

  8. I won using the text. I’m getting my phone number not valid. This is the second time I won so I’m hoping that’s not the issue. I called and the guy says sometime it takes few days to go through. Anyone have this problem and how did you resolve it?

    Nothing at all ~ seems as tho most of the winners I’ve seen posted here on Sweeties & Slickdeals had cell phones and used text ~ oh well, that still doesn’t convince me to buy a cell phone, lol.

      I only entered via landline and just got notice via e-mail today that I won $75. Claiming it was a little confusing, but not too difficult. I didn’t know I could win $75 after hearing “sorry, but you are not an instant winner” or else I would have been more diligent about entering daily. Now I pray that I win the $175,000 too. πŸ™‚

  13. Has anyone tried to use their $75 and find out that it did an outstanding balance on your account for an item that wasn’t even close to $75, and it didn’t purchase the item. If so how long before the outstanding balance goes away so you can use the $75 the right way? lol Customer Service is no help with this problem, they direct me to the FAQ but I didn’t see anything about the amount returning to the account.

  14. I am really disappointed in this sweepstakes… won a $75 prize on July 31, redeemed it, got the ecode, but it has been declined every time I’ve tried to use it! Customer service was no help; the lady I spoke with stated she couldn’t see my info to help and to send an email to the support email… whcih I did twice, with no response. Very poor customer service. πŸ™

    • I agree. We won $750, but can’t use the ecode anywhere. I have tried to email several times, but the people responsible for the card only email me back stating the problem has been resolved – WITHOUT TALKING TO ME, and refer me to the FAQs page. The prizes don’t actually work. I am very disappointed and ready to call the BBB, but I don’t know who is responsible for issuing the ecards that we can’t use. Does anyone out there know? If you do, please email me so that I can turn them in for crappy business practices. This sucks. I need to buy my kids shoes for school, and can’t! Very, very disappointed with the customer service – or lack thereof. πŸ™

        • Yes, John, I did. I called Frito Lay several times. They were very nice and worked with me to resolve the issue. The card issuers weren’t responding – just sending what seemed to be an auto reply message. The promotions department at Frito Lay got the card issuer to send me a check. I haven’t received it yet, but it should be here in the next 2-3 weeks via UPS. ( * I hope * )

      Well, I managed to spend $70 through PayPal for a cha-cha class, but am having a bitch of a time trying to spend the remaining $5 (which will expire Nov. 1), even through PayPal. Turns out a lot of online vendors don’t take debit or they don’t let you use two sources of payment and PayPal is obnoxious as well. I’ve spent more than $5 worth of time on this issue because I want to know how to handle it in the future if I win another virtual MasterCard.

    I actually received my check yesterday via Fed Ex. (They originally told me UPS, but they did call me on 9/17 to let me know it would be here on 9/19 and via Fed Ex.) I would keep calling and speaking with the promotions department, if you can. They are very helpful, and are trying to get the issues resolved. It is hard to be patient, I know! Just hang in there and keep calling. Good luck.
