Sweeps Rating: Good (fair amount of prizes, more work involved, entries do not carry over week to week)
Eligibility: open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older as of date of entry.
Entry Dates: begins on October 12, 2012 and ends August 31, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. ET
You will log into Facebook when you create your project
Submit one of the following depicting your Life Improvement Project:
- A 750 character Essay and your choice of one of the illustrations on Site; OR
- An Essay and upload your own photo; OR
- An Essay and upload a Video
You must submit an idea for the chance to receive an entry into the weekly drawing, and the opportunity to be judged a Monthly Prize Winner for the corresponding month only. Entries will not be carried forward.
Entry Limit: one entry per person per email address per week. A “Week” is defined as beginning at 12:00 a.m. ET on each Monday during the Promotion Period and ending at 11:59 p.m. ET on each Sunday
Please Note: Any attempt to use multiple e-mail accounts or other tactics to enter or Vote more than the stated limit may result in disqualification and all associated Entries and/or Votes will be void.
Judged Monthly Prizes (22 total, 2 per month): A $500 IKEA gift card.
Random Weekly Sweepstakes Prizes (460 total, 10 per week): A $100 IKEA gift card.
Voting/Judging for Monthly Prize Winner Determination: All Submissions will be posted to the Site for viewing/Voting by the general public. Visitors will have the opportunity to Vote for their favorite Submission by adding a Life Improvement Project to their personal ‘favorites list’ within the Site. Each Month, each Entrant’s final score will then be determined as follows: the Sponsor’s score from the Judging will determine 80% of each Entrant’s final score and the number of Votes received by each Entrant during the Monthly Voting will determine 20% of the Entrant’s final score.
The Essay will be judged by the Sponsor and a panel of judges, based on:
- 25% Originality
- 25% Most Inspirational Project
- 25% Relevance to Theme
- 25% Best Overall Concept
Photos and Videos will not be judged. Monthly Prize winners may be notified by phone/mail/email.
Weekly Drawings: ten weekly sweepstakes winners will be selected on or about each Monday following the end of each Week.
anyone else have an issue getting it to work in Chrome?
I submitted my entry, but when I fill out the form with my personal info, nothing happens when I click “Enter to Win” at the end. I’m using firefox.
I tried it again, lengthening my entry and re-submitting it. I also changed my phone number format to have dashes in it. Not sure what did the trick, but it worked this time.

I got a email that I won a $500 gift card! I guess I missed the initial email thinking it was spam, luckily I opened it and read it because I only had one day left to reply! My biggest win yet, only been sweeping for two months.

Robin, so far i have won 2 $100 GCs but have never received any notifications on them. They just showed up in the mail. Maybe with the BIG wins, they actually notify you.
Thx Amanda for the reply! After I sent her my info she just said in the next 3-4 weeks I would see it. I won a $25 Visa gc from Copenhagen and that said 6-8 weeks, but I got it in about 2 wks. I guess it will just be a surprise and hope I’m home!

Hmmm, so I got an email saying I won $100 gc (yayyy!) that asked for address and a reply-by date. It was in my spam folder but I don’t think it’s spam at all (right sponsor). But I’ve only heard of $100gc winners getting it as a surprise and NONE via email first so…I’m confused?
