Safeway Back to School Sweepstakes & Instant Win Game Ends 7/12/10
What an exciting way to stock up on Bonus Box Tops for your school! Enter the code from your Honey Nut Cheerios or Lucky Charms cereal package. You’ll be entered into the grand prize drawing for a chance to win 10,000 Bonus Box Tops. Then, play the Shuffle game to see if you’ll instantly win 100 Bonus Box Tops! You can play every day for another chance to win!
Eligibility: open only to legal U.S. residents of the fifty (50) United States (and D.C.) who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.
Entry Dates: begins on July 13, 2009 and ends on July 12, 2010.
How to enter: Visit back2schoolsweeps.com
You will need a code to enter:
- Visit a participating Safeway grocery store and purchase a specially marked box of Honey Nut Cheerios (17 oz.) or Lucky Charms (16 oz.) cereal to obtain your Code (Code is found on the back of specially marked participating product packages); or
- If you would like to participate in this Promotion without purchasing products, you may use the following Code: education.
Entry Limit: one (1) entry in Sweepstakes and one (1) play of Instant Win Game per person, per household and per email address per calendar day (regardless of method of obtaining Code).
Prizes:
Sweepstakes Prize: ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: will be awarded, consisting of one (1) certificate for 10,000 Bonus Box Tops. (ARV: $1,000) See www.boxtops4education.com for more details about the BTFE Program. Limit is $60,000 per school, per year. If selected school already has received the maximum amount permitted under the BTFE Program in the year in which the prize is to be awarded, winner must select an alternative BTFE-eligible school to receive the prize. All federal, state and local regulations apply. Prize is non-transferable except from winner to a BTFE-eligible school.
Instant Win Game Prizes:

When I logged on and entered the code "education" it gave me the following error message, "This request has been blocked by the servers application firewall". Anyone else have this problem (any way around it)??
I just tried it and it worked fine for me. Maybe it is your computer's firewall that is causing the problem.

Has anyone else noticed that the vouchers won't be sent out until after the promotion ends…in July of 2010? That seems like a LONG time to wait for a prize!
