U-Printing contacted me and asked me if I would like to giveaway business cards to my readers. Why yes I would indeed. There will be 2 winners and each winner will receive 500 business cards.
There are so many more ways of using business cards these days than just for giving out your business information. Do you have a blog? Design a business card with your blog information and include your URL, email address and a little bit about what your blog is about. Put them in your purse and hand them out to friends and anyone you meet. Leave them at the library and on restaurant tables. If you run giveaways on your blog, and send out prizes, put them in the packages you send to the winners.
Who is U-Printing?
For over 25 years, U-Printing has been a trusted leader in online printing, featuring its signature easy-to-use website and the famous Free File Review, a complimentary proofing service which requires no upfront payment. U-Printing offers convenient marketing support services such as design, lists, and direct mailing to help grow small and medium-size businesses nationwide as well as business card printing, brochures, calendars, flyers, greeting cards, and lots more.

I would use them to giveaway at the conferences I go to but I used to use them as a seller on ebay. I would include them in the item they bought from me:)
Another idea of how 500 business cards could be used is….A mommy card…How many times do moms write down there childrens name and phone to give to another mom to schedule a play date?? I do it all the time. I would get a business card that states mommy to and name your children and then put your name and contact information. Thank you Ana
I want to give business cards to my mom. She continually is trying to raise money for different charity events and I feel this would help her professionally.

I would love a set for myself. My blog is not established at all but I would love to further develop that, and having the business cards will allow me to network in my community. Interestingly, I had designed some free business cards for my Stepdaughter, who has Aspergers & PDD, and this made it so much easier to pass out at church and her group meetings, and got people to read her blog. So, I saw first hand that it was a great tool!

Perhaps one of the best yet potentially least creative ways to use business cards is for self-promotion in a job hunt. The business card could link back to your simple website. The website could then include an online resume, accomplishments, pictures of past successes, links to any professional blogs, etc…that a person has. The added bonus to this strategy is that it allows the person to have a professional email address, as opposed to suchandsuch@gmail.com or yahoo.com or whatever.
My wifes massage business is very card intensive and always needs a down to earth card of different types, networking with other massage therapists is a must.

I would use them as mini-resumes. As a Landscape Architect, most of my work is very artistic. One side of the card could be different (mini) examples of past projects and the other side could have contact information. This would be very helpful especially in this job market.

I could really use these right now! I sent most of mine out for Swag Bags for BlogHer and now I have some prizes to mail out but I don’t have enough cards per envelope. I would use them as networking tools!

Since I am currently unemployed I would use the 500 business cards for when I visit prospective employers. I would have the usual contact information on the front and a four or five bullet points on the back. 500 business cards would be greatly appreciated.

I have been job-searching for several months; it would be great to have business cards to hand out while networking and other times when I wouldn’t be using my resume.
Well…frankly I would use these to spread the word out about your website. you are doing an amazing job at a time of economy meltdown. So, the more people know about your website, the more chances of their winning. How about card with personal details along with statement ” member of sweetiessweeps.com
