I recently bought a new cell phone the Banter with a slide out keyboard and a text message plain so I could start entering some of the text sweeps but now have found out that when I try to send a short code it doesn’t work. Any ideas ?? I spent a lot for the phones and a plan and am really disappointed.

If you have a text plan then you should be able to send text message using a shortcode. A shortcode is just a shorter number than a regular phone number so it shouldn’t be a problem. Type the shortcode and then press menu and look for text message.
