Enter the 2009 HGTV Dream Home Sweepstakes once a day from January 1, 2009 through February 19, 2009, for your chance to win a gorgeous Victorian-style home in Sonoma, California, plus a new GMC® Acadia. It’s a grand prize package worth $2 million!

How to Enter: Beginning at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time on January 1, 2009 until 5:00 p.m. ET on February 19, 2009 you may enter the Home & Garden Television (HGTV) 2009 HGTV Dream Home Giveaway sweepstakes in any of the following ways:

online by visiting the HGTV website (www.hgtv.com) and completing the online entry form
hand printing your name, complete address, phone number (area code included) and date of birth either on a postcard or on a separate piece of paper no larger than 8½ x 11 inches, and mailing the postcard or paper in an envelope with proper postage affixed to: HGTV Dream Home Giveaway, PO Box 53305, Knoxville, TN 37950
completing the official entry form found in participating Valpak Envelopes and mailing the entry form in an envelope with proper postage affixed to the Mail-In Address
completing official entry forms distributed at HGTV-sponsored marketing events during the Sweepstakes Period and mailing the entry form in an envelope with proper postage affixed to the Mail-In Address

Entrants using U.S. mail may enter as often as they wish. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by February 19, 2009 and received by February 26, 2009. Limit one (1) entry per stamped outer envelope.

Eligibility: This online Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the U.S. and its territories, possessions and commonwealths (excluding Puerto Rico) who are 21 years of age or older as of January 1, 2009

Grand Prize Drawing: The potential Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries in the HGTV Sweepstakes received during the entire Sweepstakes Period on or about March 3, 2009 by Ritway, Inc., an independent judging organization. The odds of winning the Grand Prize depends upon on the number of eligible entries received for the entire Sweepstakes Period.

Grand Prize Winner Notification: Main Sponsor anticipates that the potential Grand Prize Winner will be contacted in person on or about March 15, 2009 (subject to change) in the form of a “ambush style” visit by Main Sponsor representatives and such potential Grand Prize Winner may be filmed during such visit by Main Sponsor.

Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize Winner shall win the Grand Prize consisting of the home in Sonoma, California that is featured in the “HGTV Dream Home” special, plus home furnishings, merchandise, an automobile, and a “doggie dream home” for the Grand Prize Winner’s dog. The home is valued at approximately $1,800,000 (includes structure, lot, and landscaping) as of November 2008. All decisions related to the HGTV Dream Home shall be at Main Sponsor’s sole discretion. Actual value of HGTV Dream Home depends on market fluctuations.

The home furnishings, merchandise, and the automobile consist of:

furniture and accessories (Approximate Retail Value: $200,000)
2009 GMC® Acadia (ARV: $49,450)
HGTV Doggie Dream Home (ARV: $3,000)

All home furnishings, merchandise, and the automobile will be selected by HGTV at its sole discretion. All home furnishings and merchandise will be delivered to the HGTV Dream Home in Sonoma, California. Total ARV of Grand Prize is $2,052,450. Entering the HGTV Dream Home Online Sweepstakes is easy.
